I know this question has been asked, but i've searched for an hour and I cant find it.

Sooooo.......

There is huge field of feed corn planted a mile away from my bees. Is it a good nectar source? I heard that it isn't, but they will go after it for the pollen.
Has anyone had any experience with corn fields and bees? Does the variety of corn matter?

Thank,

John Russell

I have read it is can be a source of honeydew that you may not want. Lots of pollen. Be careful of spraying.

Corn pollen is about the most nutritious pollen there is for bees, right? I think I read that in TH&THB
