Does anyone know what the ratio is to mix this? I am going to use the paper towel method and I only have 2 hives. I don't want to mix up a huge batch.

Please let me know asap.

I tried posting this is diseases and pest, but did not get a reply.

Thanks,

Tony

I realize this recipe is for thousands, but you should be able to reduce it down to a pound of menthol which is probably the least you can buy.50/50 mix I think. Its been a long time since we used this, but it was effective for t-mites.

It is one 1.8-ounce methol packet in one pint of canola oil. Warm the oil (don't boil) and dissolve the packet. Saturate shop towels by placing them in the oil/methol mixture. Place one towel on the top bars of each hive.

I would recomend using essential oils versus menthol.
