I am preparing to build medium supers for Pierco one-piece. I read a thread recently (problem with brood comb bridging between supers) that suggested that the Pierco is slightly shallower than wooden frames. If I want to adjust the depth of the new supers I am building to maintain proper beespace, do I simply add 5/16" to the depth of the Pierco frames and split the extra top and bottom? Does the 5/16th" beespace rule apply to the distance between frames in adjacent supers, top to bottom? Any help appreciated, please pardon my ignorance of basics.

Not sure but the bee space on top of the Pierco is probably OK. Wouldn't you just trim down the bottom edge of your supers to reach that space (if you need to)
1/8" works OK. What space do the Pierco's leave you with????

I don't think it will matter. Anytime you have thin top bars and bottom bars you'll get burring between the boxes. Pierco has a thin "top bar" and a thin "bottom bar".

Set your Pierco frame in your supers. The sum of the two spaces, 1) from top bar to top of super and 2) from bottom bar to bottom of super, should equal "bee space" (sometimes defined as 1/4, 5/16, or 3/8") I made my beespace equal 3/8".
