All Star Queens

I was wondering if anyone is using these types of Queens and what there opinion is.

I assume you mean from one of the two Weavers? I've had them. When I had them they were very good Italians. They built up like Italians and wintered like good Italians. What that means to me is they worked hard and produced a wonderful crop much of which they ate up because they didn't cut back in the winter like the Buckfasts or the Carniolans or the Ferals have. But in the South I'd guess they'd do very well. They did well here, just not as well as their Buckfasts did when all things were considered.

I sort of got scared of their stock after the Buckfasts went bezerk on me a few years ago.
