I was wondering if anyone knows the law regarding moving bees into the state of Maine. I have been told it is illegal now, but I just wanted know if anyone else out there has any knowledge on the subject. Thank you in advance for any reply.

You could contact Tony Jadczak, he'd know.

Let us know what you find out. I think it's extremely unlikely they've shutoff out of state bees. They may have changed the inspection requirements. 50,000 hives come into Maine every spring. Folks have contracts..
