Hi Everyone,
One of my packages I hived on April 13th, turned into a drone hive. There wer about 3 frames with nothing but drone on them. I put in a supercedure cell from another hive on May 11th. On May 24th I saw the queen and most of the drone brood had hatched out. I only saw a hand-sized section of regular brood on one frame. I did see two supercedure cells. Should I allow this hive to produce another queen or give this new queen a longer time period to get used to her job?

Assuming you were lucky and the cell that you gave them was 10-11 days old, it didnt emerged until something like the 13th so only 10 plus days have elapsed which really means that she is probably just starting to lay if the weather was in your favor. I would hold off, good chance that she will lay and they will tear down the cells or they will just supercede her.

Thanks, Wineman.
I'm pretty much missing the flow anyhow. Might as well let them take their time.
