Is brace comb stronger then regular comb wax?

Is it denser perhaps?

I ask because I was thinking about collecting it separately from the other wax to be used to form my own starter strip on the underside of the frame etc....

I staggered frames with foundation with frames without foundation in the brood box for the swarm I just boxed recently to see if they would build their comb straight on all five foundationless frames....

I haven't checked inside yet...

Anyway, this sparked my question regarding brace comb....

Sometimes the wax is thicker. Sometimes it contains more propolis. But it's basically wax attached with propolis same as the rest of the comb.

MB, ever heard of anyone collecting it for use in attaching starter strips?

Have you had your coffee yet?

And, who gets your massages?

LOL

I use whatever wax is handy, including burr and brace.

>Have you had your coffee yet?

Yes, the best in the world. From http://www.coffeecultureonline.com/ I get it on Thursday and it was roasted on Tuesday or Wednesay.

>And, who gets your massages?

Massages? Lots of people get my massages. All they have to do is ask.
