What is the difference between premium dark corn syrup and clear corn syrup????? Other than the color I mean.

Dark corn syrup is just corn syrup molasses. It's the stuff they took out of the light corn syrup to make it light. I has much more solids and "impurities".

So I take it that, when mixed w/sugar, it won't hurt the bee when made into candy boards???? I hope.

Dark corn syrup is just corn syrup molasses. Molasses is not very good winter feed and probably not good for bees in general:
