Oregon/washington beekeepers

Is anyone in need of some free labor in trade for some training on beekeeping? I live in NE Oregon - there are no clubs and I havent found anyone local who can help me.

How about contacting the Bee Inspector for your area? Surely he/she would know all who keep bees in your neck of the woods.

Ive contacted local beekeeper and they are understandably busy and cant teach me at least right now so Im branching out of my area somewhat trying to find someone who may be willing to trach me some stuff as time would allow.

Did you ask the inspector for the beekeepers in your area or just for help?

I have met many people who have or used to have bees, there are more than you think.

I havent asked the local inspector yet. I did call the local extension office and they dont know anything about bees and requirements in the city limits.
