split them, and still swarmed

Hi all , got started splitting my strong hives last saterday,thought i had it wooped, but no got up sunday to 3 swarms . two of the swarms were about the size of melons. one filled a 5 gal bucket half full. put them in new hives with brood .hope they stay.i found a hive with no brood,but drone cells. it looked like a popcorn machine went crazy in it. readin the book i took it 100 yards away dumped it brushed all the bees away .and put new hive in its place. question is what do i do with frames full of drone cells?

Sometimes they have made up their mind and nothing disuades them.

Drones? You can freeze them or you can divvy them out to your other hives, who would have to raise drones otherwise. smile.gif
