This past week I confronted two different farmers spraying in the afternoon. These are multi-purpose farms that have contracted for the bees to be on-site all year. They said the chemicals were fungicide and to thier knowledge not harmful. I asked what the label said and both looked confused. Both spraying strawberries. Could of been anything from the sprayers though. I have had discussions with them before about daytime spraying etc. First time I saw it. I would like to send out a hand-out/page with general reccomendations for spraying, etc. I know there is alot of print on the subject but I'm looking for some type of printable sheet from a agriculture dept./university outlining spray and effect, etc. Does anyone have a link? Thank-you.
