Hi, smile.gif

I have a post in "Queen and bee breeding" under,"re queening thought",another in 101 "newspaper combine"
Dont know how to do the quick link thingy.

One of the hot hives that was not re-queening is the one in the "newspaper combine" topic.

When we re-queened this hive it had only just become a nasty piece of work.We took the queen and some bees away and this new hive became docile in a few days.

The original hive now queenless remained cranky and would not re-queen.We were running out of options so we combined it with a spare nuc .It also became gentle in a few days.

I dont think the original hive got hot on what they were sourcing because it was one of fifteen in the site, the rest remained gentle.

What could explain the sudden turn around?
Thank you
