I've ordered from them twice. A week and a half for bulky stuff, including a few days' on their end for getting the order together, isn't __too__ bad. This is the season when everybody's ordering, so I'm sure they're quite busy.
I haven't ordered from other bee suppliers, so I can't compare apples to apples. But the same day I ordered from BB, I ordered product from a fencing company in the same region. Both, multiple heavy items; both, UPS Ground. I got the fencing gear 7 days later, the bee stuff 12 days later.
Some smaller operations (like my own business) have set weekdays when they pack and ship. Don't know if that's the deal with Betterbee, but in any case, I'm not dissatisfied. Their shipping policy is in line with their delivery time.

I've had nothing but great success with shipments from Betterbee. I'm usually amazed at how quickly they get here after I order.
Mitch- They must stop by my place first and then catch you on the way home. :D ;)
Good luck with them here!

They do fine for me too. I try to order ahead of the busy season. I'll bet that has a little bit ti do with it. I order online and if they are out of stock on something, they let me know via email. I don't mind late delivery's as long as I know it ahead of time.

I can't complain at all. I ordered from them this past Monday and the stuff got here Wednesday. I didn't pay for expedited shipping either. Well packaged, arrived in good shape. Mitch, you're in OH so it might take longer to get to you from NY than to VA where I am.

It depends on how busy they are. right now is not a good time to order. I'm within a 1 day shipping zone, and it will take a week to get stuff when they are busy.

I ordered a bucket band heater Wednesday evening and got it today.
Shipment / Delivery depends on orders and stock. If it is in stock it can ship -- if not it takes time.
As with everything -- order it long before you need it.

I've had very good response from them the last several times I ordered. Also, their prices , including shipping, has been competitive with closer suppliers.

I'm happy with their service and delivery time, but then I usually order in the late winter or early fall.

I just received an order from them today. They said it would take 2-4 days to process the order, it took 1. They said UPS would take 5 days to ship it, it took 5. I could have paid more for faster shipping.

Every UPS package can be tracked by waybill
number here:
http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/index.jsx
If you type in the waybill number from your
package, you can (after the fact) see exactly
when it was picked up, and where it went as
it traveled from the shipper to you.
Putting in Betterbee's address and your city
into the UPS "Calculate Shipping Time and Cost"
gizmo tells me that a package shipped via
UPS Ground today (Tuesday) would result in
a guaranteed delivery by this Thursday, so
you should expect 2 business days for shipping.
Why not send an e-mail to them, and ask THEM
about the cause of the apparent delays? I know
Shane and his team really really really want to
make every customer happy, and while we can all
speculate endlessly, only Betterbee and UPS can
provide you with hard facts.

Wow Bruce that is great. Now am not quite as understanding seeing your location.
Betterbee has sent me the info on my delivery date
atleast the tracking, deliver on 5/10.Could be just my bad luck or something. But i am happy to be getting my stuff.
I am not going to post my order date as my intention was not to slam Betterbee.Just a simple question on how all of you thought they did on delivey times.I am still going to buy from Betterbee with a bit more planning ahead on my part.

When I ordered from them I was very happy with their delivery time, considering I live so far away.

They told me it was a cyber mistake imagin that now days.I guess the good old phone call would have been better.
I find Betterbee to be great to deal with in these matters. They did very well as soon as they knew there was a problem.

I ordered online from another supplier I won't mention their name. I waited 2 weeks and called them. They had no record of my transaction. Finally the guy after searching for a while found it in the system but it had never been processed. Somehow somewhere they had completely missed seeing it. I assumed that my order was being processed as I had received an email stating that my order had been received and was being processed. Turns out it was an automated reply.
As soon as they knew about it they fixed it. I try to take it all w/ a grain of salt. Nothings going to work perfect everytime. It just gets frustrating when you need it NOW and it gets delayed for whatever reason. Hey it happens. Order early.
