Black or White foundation?

Black. The bees don't care and it makes it easier to see eggs/brood. Some like the white b/c it is more attractive (to humans).

Is there any reason why we should not mix black and white foundation in the same hive? I assume the bees do not care.

I use white for the supers and black for the brood. I tried white in the brood area and the bees would not use it and vise versa.
