Can a recently caught swarm be added to existing hive using the newspaper method? If the swarm queen is left in the swarm what will the “existing hive” do about it? Or is this a bad idea? Was thinking about using a swarm to strengthen a weak hive.

I think if you killed one of the queens first, it wouldn't be a problem at all

You don't have to kill one of the queens. The bees will do it for you. And maybe make a better choice. If you have a choice, like breeding for mite tolerance, do it yourself.
