So Help!

I need to head out on a trip this morning. Like, Now. I hived two packages on Saturday. How long will they take to get through the one-gallon pails of light syrup? I don't remember from last year. If it won't last much longer, I'll make the detour to feed them, but it will add an hour to a REALLY long trip....

So, if you read this, I need to know, say, within the hour.

Many many many thanks!

It is only 9:53am here, so I think it is within the hour....

It should take them a few days longer...I don't know how long a gallon will last, but at this point, even if they run out it isn't a big deal. There is enough blooming in the area to give them what they need.

I wouldn't add an hour to a long trip.

An answer in six minutes! Thanks!

There's a million dandilions out there, and they're on drawn comb, if that helps the equation...

They'll use less syrup on drawn comb, at least from what I've seen with mine. The syrup is expecially helpful in a dearth, or when they need to make lots of wax.

If there's nectar I wouldn't sweat it too much. When there is NOT nectar it's a big issue.
