Well I checked the girls today, {nice and warm 55 degrees} and one hive with a total of 4 mediums, had brood in all 4 boxes! Not just a frame or 2 at least 5-6 frames per box all in different stages of development. It had seemed light on stores on an earlier lift of the rear of the hive last week. So I popped a feeder on top, and checked the feeder today and there were some bees taking the feed not many. So I decided to take a look inside and that is what I found.
The second hive was much more conservative on the brood rearing, top super nice and heavy, some brood in the other boxes about what I think is normal.
Anyway just thought I would tell someone, when I tell my wife she just looks at me and politely smiles and goes back to what she was doing. smile.gif
I wonder why she does that? :D :D
