honey question

I am wondering what the weight of a gallon of honey is. The 5lb containers in the store look like about half a gallon in size. Which would make 10lbs per gallon. Am I close? Sorry for the simple question but was just wondering.

if I were selling honey I would try to sell it in the ross rounds because 2 gal. of honey feed to your bees will make over 120.00 in nice pre packed rounds. thats if your trying to make money some people like to just give it away. remenber it cost money to keep bees
