Does varroa caused deformities?

Unfortunately, I haven't done either. I don't know what these mean. I can say, I have one heavily infested with mites and the drop was quick when I began my treatment. The other hives are being treated as well and there are not many mites in these but I've noticed a couple of deformed wings on bees, in them.

I'm still not sure what to expect.

Is it safe to think that I should continue what I'm doing? It's my hope to treat, and have strong enough hives to make it through the winter.

Is there a chance for this? I will not be taking honey.
