SBB Tray in or out?

This just hit me,if I am not currenlty doing a mite count do I remove the tray from the SBB for better air circulation?

Yes - that's the idea. I keep mine out all year except when doing counts.

I keep mine out year round too, except when monitoring drop counts. It really helps keep down the moisture in the hive.

I keep mine in until the bees start to beard from the heat and remove it until it starts frosting at night.
