Pollen Patties

I made some pollen patties with substitue and 1:1 sugar water. I patted these out thin and placed them on wax paper. Will they get hard before they go into the hive? And will they keep until next spring if I store the excess in zip-lok's?

If you freeze them in zip lock bags they should make it to spring in good shape.
