We need to get our bees out of their current hive due to the fact it's falling apart (thanks to our predecessor.) We built a new hive and are wondering if there's a particular method or strategy for moving them.

I would just move all the frames and bees into the new hive and place the new hive in the place of the old hive and put the old box behind the new hive on the ground for a day or two before disposing of the old box
