I got my bees wax small foundation in today. I have tried to cut one piece of it into strips but, it keeps breaking above the cut.
How do I stop this?
Thanks,
Craig
P.S. I am using a ruler and a box cutter.
use a pizza cutter....

The right temperature has everything to do with it. Warm enough that it's not brittle, and cool enough it doesn't gum up the pizza cutter or the scissors. I'm fond of the pizza cutter.

Its 57 here today. How do you stop the strip of foundation from breaking when you install them on the frame. I have wedge top frames. I am using an electrical staple gun, every time I shoot a staple the foundation cracks. Any tips?
Thanks

Take it in the house and warm it to 75 to 85 degrees.

OK Thanks. I didn't realize how fragile this wax was.

Warm them up. As much as 80 F wouldn't hurt.

I have a tiny space heater on my work bench. Works great for getting the wax warm.

Cold wax is brittle. Hot wax is sticky. Warm wax is ductile.
