Helmut, I did not notice workers laying with the
drones. I know bees lose their stinger and inners
when stinging a human, this due to our tuff skin and
their barbed stinger. Do they always lose their
stinger when using it on one another? If so, why does a
new queen survive after knocking off the old lady of
the hive?
