Sorry, but you are correct...not
about the hole, but about my statement.
The pin hole is the size of a dissecting pin @ .5mm. But the
IDEA was to
get the bees to notice the HOLE so they would definately notice
the mite.
Previously, theorists stated that the bees did not groom the
mites off each
other because they did not notice them. That is why the experiment
was done the way it was.
