Unfortunately too many when they write using the word anecdote
consider the
paper unweighted for the information being put forth. When they
want to
speak with soundness the word then really turns to good observations
with
factual claims for what they have seen. In a way Chris is right,
but before
too much is put forth as anecdote evidence, putting on the big
words, and at
times muddying waters, I would sooner see it put as an actual
history of the
subject matter and then have them actually build into what they
want to
currently add and say. Basically past and present informaton.
