Subject: How do you tell diseases apart

Hi All

Getting ready for a meeting this weekend and the topic came up of how do you tell the various diseases apart in a colony. Not now talking parasitic
mites. Just plain old bee diseases and how to tell them apart and explain to
a new beekeeper what to look for and then the proper action to take to
correct the problem. So now I guess I will call some older beekeepers in the
assoc and ask them to be at the meeting to help explain.

But in the meantime, I know there are several new beekeepers on this
discussion group and might want the same information on AFB, EFB, PMS,
Chaulk, Sacbrood, etc. Any input any older beekeepers with experience want
to give to the newer ones?
