Subject: fall honey for wintering bees

Hi all,

Why do many keep saying fall honey is poor for wintering bees(other list)? And that it should be replaced with sugar syrup? I'm wondering what happened to the summer honey they should have on the bees too! Shouldn't the honey be a mixture of both for winter? Something seems wrong. Comments?
