Dee, they are drawing comb, but not as much as I
expected. After a week, about 2 inches on perhaps 5
frames, much of which has nector stored.

I have new excluders , metal bound wire construction.

My real problem is that I have 2 strong hives with
queens and eggs, but 1 hive which suffered heavy loss
in shipping and now proves to have NO queen. Have
called Bill, who said he would send me one, but doesn't
have any at the present. The bees have begun a queen
cell, but have no eggs. Sould I give them a frame with
eggs from another hive or wait a week for a queen to
get here.
