Re: bee bobs

Is this book still available, or is it an out-of-print,
find-it-where-you-can sort of thing?

Also I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer. I seem to remember someone here saying something to the effect that bees prefer certain width to depth ratios in the configuration of brood comb. If they do, then what appears to be their opinion of the optimal ratio?

I ask this question because I am drawing up plans for my own top-bar hives, and see no particular reason to stay married to the Langstroth dimensions.
If bees prefer a different dimension of frame, then by golly, I'll give it to them.

Thanx, Joel
