Question:
I've been thinking about building
some nucs out of plywood as well. I
built a nuc last year out of plywood, painted it, and it is holding
up
very nicely. Have you ever built or considered building with
OSB
(oriented strand board)?
It is like particle board, but much better. Prices here are
at an
all-time low and there are bargains to be had. Also, if you
take
care to properly prime and paint, I think that you can keep a
good
deal of the moisture out and greatly extend the life of plywood,
osb,
etc. What do you think?
Take care,
Scott
