Yes, I am familiar with Sutterfields site since a few years.
I have no
problem with his idea at all. It's just that I had these c clamps
handy on
the quickie and I kept the method because I only have two tbh's
and the
yield is not that great . I use most of it as chunk honey for
sale.
A wringer/mangle would be just fine, but here again, it has to
be
cost-effective too.
By the way, the method of starter strips works anywhere. I use
it in lungs
too just to see what happens. Brood chambers, that is.
My Tanzania tbh has now the bottom board feature also and is
waiting for
occupancy. I still have to modify the Kenya.
