What I have done, and it works well, is just to dribble a line of hot wax
around the inside centerline of frame, and place it between two drawn
frames. Its quick, easy, and the bees seem to accept the wax line as a
blueprint for where to form their comb. I don't bother with wires as I
don't like the hassle, and I press extract the honey, or use whole
honeycomb anyway.
