the clean wax going to come from...? This may very well be the answer. A new branch within (although it may arise from without) the beeswax processing industry. Beeswax bought only from certified organic beek's, and processed organically, on-sold as certified organic beeswax, with testing somewhere in there to ensure that it is all residue free. Basically keeping organic wax separate from non-organic, at all levels. Trying to keep residued wax out of organic hives, and also as Don says: " It wouldn't make much sense to put clean foundation into a dirty hive". It may take a brand new company to try it small first, if it grows successfully, eventually the big boys will also start their own lines of organic wax... if folk will trust them not to mix other wax. Sufficient transparent testing will be the key to keeping it honest, and keeping beek's trust that the wax IS organic and residue free. Who's crazy? -Pav, missed the beek' chat again. Any feed-back to others like me who haven't made it yet? What sort of numbers of chatters have been involved?
