I don't think the bees see it as anything other than natural... The reverse
if anything the bees are more "despondent" if they do not have enough wax
work to do.

KBS in UK have been testing for many years.

I presume it is the solvent that they use for filtration... I think it
smells awful!

Chinese wax is very brittle... Beeswax is not homogenous but an alloy of
many components, the percentages of these vary from region to region and bee
type.
