Clay, I purchased 3 packages of 49ers this year, one
for a friend and 2 for me. Although 1 arrived very
weak, all 3 are drawing excellent comb. The srong
hives now have second brood box on and are just
beginning to draw comb in them. Would be farther
along, but have had 3 cold rainy weeks here. My weak
hive has had to raise it's own queen from eggs given
from another hive. They are behind, but still making
good comb.
