Barry: Only had one hive established with a spring swarm. Had them on OMF
and 4.9mm foundation. They had a good brood pattern all through April and
May. As flow and SHB increased, brood pattern decreased until there was no
brood - observed the queen several times after brood began to decrease -
Possibly I should have moved queen and done a shake down to another hive but
really did not think of it. I had one other small swarm that did not work
the foundation except for a four or five inch section on one frame - found
the queen dead on the floor. Roy
