That they fly. Though Steve Taber had an experience in an apiary where he
had hives on stands and those didn't get affected very much. Could be due
to other things of course. You also have the larvea crawliong back to the
soil for going into the puppea stage. Maybe it's worth trying to see if
there will be any difference.
