Hi to all on Biological Beekeeping;

Read genisis1:26, God gave man the authority rule over every living
creature. The above is how God made them, but also man was given the right
to manage them also. Look at my post WHY BEEKEEPING?"

Careful what you write Clay as "The above is how God made them, but also
man was given the right to manage them also.".

This as you interpert it, is a double edged blade, that would also allow
various treatmentss which we all perceive to be wrong too, and only a short
term fix and no long term solution.

Personally I don't think anything should be mutated by cutting, and i.e.
shaking down is far more easier on bees, than continuing them to suffer, by
being chewed upon continuously, and then burned and poisoned repeatedly.

It is natural for bees to draw wax for combs. It doesn't hurt them. It only
hurts the beekeepers pride and pocketbook. Yes it is natural for bees to
mate and it stops natural mating.Questioin: Do you castrate your goats and
then ask them to reproduce? I think this is the point that was being
referred to you earlier.

While I can see your POV on clipping and painting a color for your queens at
your level now of management, and this is normal. Most big outfits don't
have the time for it, because it is labor intensive. Queen breeding maybe,
but even then many don't find it necessary, learning to keep a log or mark
the supers instead where necessary.

However, this is a lesser matter that circumstances change as numbers change
and workload increases.
