Subject: summer shake downs

Hi all,

Have one colony regressed at home yard using 8 colonies to draw one frame each earlier this spring. These frames were then removed and placed into one colony(double). Average range from 5.0 to 5.1 cell size. Should I shake this colony down onto 4.9 foundation? Tried adding frames between brood combs. Bees pulled them at 5.2mm. Pulled them out and melted down. Will take the 5.0-5.1mm combs and place in the top of the next colony (depending on advise). Is this advisable or will they just draw 5.2 cells again when shook down? Good flow is on. Or should I wait until next season to shake down. All other frames(outside frames are 5.2mm) 5.0's are in the center of colony.
