Thank you for your clarification.
As you could read from my comments - I understood that you were
suggesting that the small but persistent changes in bee morphology by
the use of "enlarged foundation" was resulting in changes in genetic
base of the queens.
So, we agree!

Just a point of interest - noting from the geological record - organisms
have had the tendency to become larger as they evolved. Then eventually
became extinct.
