You don't say anything about
your location; what's your winter weather
like? It would only make a difference if they're in permanent
shade at a time
when the temperature was rising sufficiently to allow cleansing
flights. My
own bees get next to no sun in the depths of winter, but I don't
think it
makes any difference to them, as I've seen them bringing in small
amounts
pollen in November with only a glimmer of sunlight on the hive
roofs. My
winter temperature is mostly in the 30's Fahrenheit, but it's
been going down
to 20-25 for the last few nights.
