I have a copy of C.C.Miller's book. It is good.

Authors to look for from my POV are E. F. Phillips, L.E. Snelgrove, E.L.
Sechrist, D. F. McFarland, D. Farrar, Jay Smith, and E.B. Wedmore, Roy
Grout, Cheshire.
