Subject: First shakedown
Hi all,
My colonies in Berkshire are
piling pollen in to their hives. The spring
Canola/OSR is starting to flower too. 2 weeks to a real flow
I think. Should
I wait for a complete hatch of newbees, or for the flow to kick
in, or
should I shakedown now and leave them to it?
I have a mixture of full 4.9
frames and starter strips. Starter strips in
first (full box) as comb is drawn and started I'll flank the
nest with full
sheets. Fingers crossing and uncrossing all the night long.
